CC Global Summit 2021 brought together activists, advocates, librarians, educators, lawyers, artists and technologists, among others from across the world in a virtual summit to promote open access and better sharing of research and resources. Hosted by Creative Commons, the summit also marked its 20th anniversary.
I worked to visualise a header and feature image for the summit that captured their vision of sharing, open access, creativity, vibrance and collaboration. Using Creative Commons’ brand colours I created a collage of characters and illustrative elements threaded to CC’s work, the summit keynotes and panels, discussions and the larger community.
