International Women's Development Agency commissioned an illustrated map to represent the key elements of a strong feminist movement. Based on IWDA’s learning since 1984, the Feminist Movement Strengthening Framework also builds on the foundations and work of feminist activists across the world. The brief was to adopt an illustrative approach that would speak directly to the existing visual language and vision of feminist movements - including bright colours, symbols of resistance and diverse bodies.
